RASON---
Hot, stimulant, carminative, emmenagogue, anti rheumatic,
anthelmintic and alterative. Oil from the seeds is stimulant.
Garlic acts as vermifuge expells round worms. Oil is a powerful
antiseptic. Internally garlic is beneficial in several forms
of atonic dyspepsia. The essential oil of garlic is absorbed
into the circulation and is excreted through the lungs and bronchial
mucousa, acts as a antiseptic and antispasmodic.
GUGGUL----
It is used in rheumatism. Nervous diseases, scrofulous affections,
urinary disorders and skin diseases. Research has proved its
action as a cholesterol reducer, plays effective role in lipid
Synthesis and fat metabolism, anti spasmodic and emmenagogue.
RAL---
A mild astringent, aphrodisiac and stimulant, soothing application
for the relief of lumbago and other rheumatic pains. Also used
for weak digestion.
KANCHANAR--- Bark is alterative, tonic and
astringent. Root is carminative and flowers are laxative. Decoction
of the root is given in dyspepsia and flatulence. It is also
in an anti-fat remedy and therefore valuable.
ARJUN
BARK--- Bark is astringent, cardiac stimulant, tonic.
It is also useful in bilious affections and as an antidote to
poisons, scorpion-sting. Ayurvedic physicians recommend the
use of Arjuna Bark in derangement of all the three humours,
kafa, pitta and vayu and all sorts of conditions of cardiac
failure and dropsy. In the treatment of haemoptysis , externally
its leaves are used for covering ulcers and sores. Effective
in spermatorrhoea and Harita recommended its decoction in gonorrhoea.
KALMEGH----
Bitter, stomachic,
bitter tonic, alterative,anthelminitic, household remedy with
other herbs for malaria, appetiser, flatulence, gaseous distension
because of bowels movements. Corrects bowel movements, sluggish
liver, neuralgia etc.
PUNARNAVA----
Bitter, stomachic, laxative, diuretic, expectorant, diaphoretic
and emetic. Root is purgative, anthelmintic and febrifuge. Dhanwantari
Nighantu described the white variety as possessing laxative
and diaphoretic properties, and the red variety is bitter. The
active principle is a diuretic chiefly acting on the glomeruli
of the kindneys. On the cells of the tubules it exerts little
or no action, and if any, it is initial and comparative. On
the respiration it has little or no action, any action is probably
due to the fatty principle found in the weed. On liver, the
action is principally secondary, and in combination with other
drugs.
TRIPHALA----
Astringent, tonic, expectorant, laxative, alterative, nutritive
tonic, refrigerant, rejuvenative (for pitta), stomachic. Helpes
in circulation digestion, heart tonic, tonesup excretory system,
good for eyes and scalp treatment. Tonesup entire G.I.tract.
Improves liver function. Helps in Excretion of accumulated waste

LOBAN----
Diuretic, aromatic, demulcent, aperient, alterative, emmenagogue.
As a slight hepatic stimulant, it is used in jaundice not caused
by mechanical obstruction and also in some chronic cases of
diarrhoea, dysentery, dyspepsia and haemorrhoids
